Reed Family 1,370,000 acres O n October 12, it was announced that the Reed family's Green Diamond Resource Company would become an equity partner in Twin Creeks LLC, a joint venture formed in part by Seattle-based Silver Creek Capital, a $6.3 billion alternative investment manager. Beginning in 2018, Green Diamond Management Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Diamond, will manage Twin Creeks' timber asset portfolio. "Green Diamond is well-recognized as a leading owner and manager in the forest products industry for over 125 years, and we are pleased to be partnering with them to build the Twin Creeks business for decades to come," said Silver Creek president Bob Ratliffe. Green Diamond president Douglas Reed added, "As a family-owned business with roots dating to 1890, Green Diamond is committed to long-term, high-quality stew- ardship of timberland properties.
